Where can I ship my Meta Store device?

When you buy a Meta Store product, you can ship it to the following locations:

Regular Addresses

  • Homes
  • Apartments
  • Dorms
  • Condos
  • Offices

Keep the following things in mind if you ship your Meta Store device to a regular address:

  • Do not use a P.O. Box address. Meta does not ship to P.O. Boxes.
  • Check to make sure you include the right shipping info before checking out. Meta isn’t responsible for shipping problems due to missing or incorrect addresses.
  • Orders may require signature depending on your location.
  • If your address has a front office, mail room or receptionist, they may sign for your Meta Store device when it arrives. Check with them if your tracking details say your device was delivered, but you didn’t receive it yet.

Military Addresses

  • APO
  • FPO
  • DPO

Keep the following things in mind if you ship your Meta Store device to a military address:

  • It can take between 45 to 60 days to receive your Meta Store device.
  • For security reasons, the package will have limited tracking info.

If you don’t receive your Meta Store device after 60 days from when your order shipped, please contact Meta Store support with your order number for help.

How do I find my Meta Store order number?

You can find your order number on your confirmation email or store.facebook.com/account.

To find your order number:

  1. Go to store.facebook.com/account.
  2. Tap Orders.

How do I track my order from the Meta Store?

After placing an order through store.facebook.com, you'll receive an email summary of your order. Your order status, tracking information and receipt of your order can be found on your account page.

To track your order:

  1. Go to store.facebook.com/account.
  2. Tap Orders.

If you placed an order using guest checkout, go to store.facebook.com/guest/order/find.

From your account page you can find your:

  • Estimated delivery date

Tap View order details to find:

  • Shipping information
  • Payment information

How do I send or return gifts from the Meta Store?

You can choose items from store.facebook.com to send to someone else as a gift. You can also send app gifts from the Oculus Store.

Gift orders allow you to include a digital gift message and hide any pricing from the packaging. Gift messages will be sent via email to the recipient once the order has been delivered or on a specific date.

Send a gift
  1. Add an item to your cart on store.facebook.com, then proceed to checkout.
  2. On the Shipping page, click This is a gift.

If you want to send a personalized gift message, enter the recipient’s email address and your personalized message. The message will be sent once the gift is delivered.

You can also send the gift message to yourself. This allows you to send the message to the recipient whenever you’d like.

Return a gift

All items purchased from the Meta Store, including items received as a gift, are eligible for free returns within 30 days of delivery. Keep in mind, as the gift sender you’ll need to start the return process. Additionally, any refunds for gifts will go back to you, not the gift recipient.

How can I find my serial number?

Quest
Portal

Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest headsets, as well as Oculus Touch controllers, all have unique 14-digit serial numbers.

To locate the serial number for your headset and controllers:

  • Oculus.com: You can find the serial number for your Meta Quest 2 or Meta Quest headset by logging into Oculus.com and visiting https://secure.oculus.com/my/devices/.
  • Oculus mobile app: Open the Oculus mobile app on your phone and tap Devices at the bottom. Your headset and its serial number can be found here.
  • Headset: On the left side of your headset, gently pull the strap connector away from the headset until it pops off. Your headset serial number is below the QR code.
  • Touch controllers: Remove the battery door from your Touch controller, then remove the battery. Your controller serial number will be on the inside of the controller under the battery below the QR code.
  • Box/packaging: On the outside of your Meta Quest 2 box, look for a white sticker marked with a bar code. Under the bar code, find S/N to see your headset's serial number.

Meta Quest Referral Program

If you have Meta Quest 2 or Meta Quest, you can invite a friend to purchase their own Meta Quest 2 headset. You must log into your headset using your Meta account to send a referral link.

Once your friend purchases and activates their new Meta Quest 2, both of you will receive $30 in Meta Quest Store Credit.

To send a referral link from the Oculus mobile app:

  1. Open the Oculus mobile app on your device.
  2. Tap Menu in the bottom right, then tap the blue Referrals Program banner.
  3. Tap Copy to copy your unique referral link, then share it with a friend on the platform of your choice, or tap Share to select from sharing options on your device. If your Meta account and Facebook account are in the same Accounts Center, you can also tap Send next to one of your friends under Suggested Referrals to send your unique referral link on Messenger.
    • You can find more friends from your Messenger contacts by tapping Search Friends, then tapping Search for friends and entering their name.
  4. Your friend will receive a link to purchase Meta Quest 2. You and your friend will each receive $30 in Meta Quest Store Credit when they activate their new Meta Quest 2.

To send a referral link from the Meta Quest website:

  1. Go to https://www.oculus.com/quest-2-referrals.
  2. Click Send Referrals and sign into your account.
  3. Click Copy to copy your unique referral link, then share it with a friend on the platform of your choice. You can also click Send next to one of your friends under Suggested Referrals to send your unique referral link on Messenger.
    • You can find a different friend from your Facebook contacts by clicking Search Facebook friends and entering their name.
  4. Your friend will receive a link to purchase Meta Quest 2. You and your friend will each receive $30 in Meta Quest Store Credit when they activate their new Meta Quest 2.

To redeem a referral link:

  1. Click the referral link that your friend sent. Create a new Meta account or log in.
  2. Purchase your Meta Quest 2 from any retailer. You and your friend who referred you will receive $30 in Meta Quest Store Credit once you activate your new headset.

To redeem your referral credit from the Oculus mobile app:

  1. Open the Oculus mobile app on your device.
  2. Tap Menu in the bottom right, then tap the blue Referrals Program banner.
  3. Tap Redeem in the blue banner at the top.

Cancel an order from the Meta Store

If you made a purchase through https://store.facebook.com/ and your payment method hasn't been charged yet, you can cancel your order by visiting the order lookup page.

If you made a purchase using your Facebook account:

  1. Log in to your Facebook account on the order lookup page.
  2. Find the order you want to cancel and select View Details.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select Cancel Order.

If you made a purchase without logging into Facebook:

  1. Enter your order ID on the order lookup page.
    • The order ID can be found in your order confirmation email.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and select Cancel Order.

If your payment method has been successfully charged, the order can no longer be canceled. Our support team will not be able to cancel it for you. Follow the steps to return your order.

I'm having a problem with my Meta Store device delivery.

If you bought a Meta Store device in the Oculus store and you’re having a problem with your delivery, contact Meta Store support.

If your order was refused or wasn’t delivered to the address you entered when checking out, a refund will be issued to your payment method after the device is sent back to us.

Note: Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Returns and warranties for accessories purchased on Meta Store

The return and warranty processes for accessories purchased from Meta Store are outlined below. If you have additional questions or need guidance on how to handle your specific situation, please contact Meta Store support.

First-party Meta Quest accessories

If you purchased a first-party product from the Meta Store you can return it for a refund through Meta Store within 30 days. After 30 days, if the return is due to an issue covered by warranty, Meta Store support can help process the return or exchange.

Third-party accessories

If you purchased a third-party product from oculus.com, you can return it for a refund through the Meta Store within 30 days. After 30 days, if the return is due to an issue covered by warranty, you'll need to contact the product's manufacturer for any warranty returns of exchanges.

If you purchased a third-party accessory but did not purchase it through Meta Store, please contact the place you purchased it from for any type of return either inside or outside of the warranty period.

Will I have to re-purchase titles on Rift S if I own them on Meta Quest already?

For titles that are available for both Rift S and Meta Quest, we support the ability to buy once and be entitled to the content on both devices.

With that being said, we believe that it's important to empower the developer to make this decision, so while encouraged, developers are not required to implement cross-buying. The decision to allow for cross-buying is ultimately up to each developer and whatever is best for their business and community.

It's also important to note that Meta Quest and Rift S run on different operating systems, so progress in a game on one device won’t necessarily carry over to the other.

What is Facebook Pay and why am I being offered to enter a PIN for Facebook Pay when buying a Portal?

Note: When purchasing a Portal device, you can log in with your Facebook account or proceed as a Guest user.

You can use Facebook Pay to make seamless and secure payments on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp. Facebook Pay is available today on Facebook and Messenger in the US.

When you make a purchase from Meta Store using your Facebook account, you can save your preferred payment method with Facebook Pay. Saving your preferred payment method prevents you from having to re-enter your payment information in the future when making purchases, sending money or donating within apps where Facebook Pay is available.

Why am I being asked to authenticate my payment when ordering a Meta Portal?

We may ask you to authenticate your payment when purchasing a Meta Portal through https://store.facebook.com/portal to comply with applicable fraud prevention laws.

To authenticate your payment during checkout, you’ll be asked to enter a code that was sent to the email address associated with your account.

Some of the ways your bank may ask you to authenticate your payment include:

  • Responding to an email with a secure link to complete your purchase.
  • Opening a payment confirmation from Portal from Facebook on your phone.
  • Providing additional verification for your bank in a new browser window.

Notes:

  • You can also add PayPal as a confirmed payment method to your Facebook account. Once you do this, you should be able to use your confirmed PayPal account to complete purchases without additional verification steps.
  • If you are having trouble authenticating your payment or if you don’t receive a code, please contact Meta Store support at store.facebook.com/help for assistance.
