How do we protect your privacy during human review?
We have a team of vetted, trained transcription vendors and select Facebook employees who assist in reviewing “Hey Portal” voice interactions. All of our employees and vendors are subject to strict privacy and security requirements in their handling of this information. We use controlled and monitored systems to ensure that the transcription vendors and Facebook employees who are reviewing “Hey Portal” voice interactions access only the information required to complete voice services training tasks. And we protect your privacy by changing the pitch of your voice in "Hey Portal" voice interactions that are reviewed so it's difficult to identify you.
Note: We only review voice interactions that are stored. If you have turned off storage, or if your Portal is connected only to your WhatsApp account (and not to a Facebook Account), or if your voice interaction occurs during a WhatsApp call, your “Hey Portal” voice interactions are not stored and will not be reviewed.
