Manage Meta Quest 2 notifications

You can manage notifications from the Oculus mobile app or from your Meta Quest 2 headset.

To manage notifications from the your mobile app settings:

  1. Open the mobile app on your phone.
  2. Tap Menu in the bottom right corner, then tap Settings.
  3. Tap Account Settings, then tap Notifications.
  4. Tap an app you want to manage notifications for. From here, you can turn notifications for the app you selected on or off. You can also control what types of notifications you'll get and where you'll get them.

To manage individual notification settings

  1. Open the mobile app on your phone.
  2. Tap to view your current notifications.
  3. Swipe one of your notification from right to left to quickly unsubscribe or change the notification settings for the specfied app.

To manage notifications from your Meta Quest 2 headset:

  1. Press on your right Touch controller to pull up your universal menu.
  2. Hover over the clock on the left side of the universal menu. When Quick Settings appears, select it to open the Quick Settings panel.
  3. Select Settings in the top right corner, then select Notifications.
    • To mute all notifications in VR, select Do Not Disturb from the left menu, then select the toggle next to Do Not Disturb.
    • To manage notifications for an app, select Apps from the left menu, then select the app you want to manage notifications for. From here, you can turn notifications for the app you selected on or off. You can also control what types of notifications you'll get and where you'll get them.
    • To manage phone notifications in VR, select Phone Notifications from the left menu. Learn more about phone notifications.
