How a Rift Party works
Parties allow you to hang out and chat with friends in VR. You can start a party using your Oculus Rift S or Rift to chat with up to 3 of your friends at a time.
Creating and Leaving Parties
To start a party:
- Open the Oculus app on your PC computer and then put your headset on.
- From your friends list, select
next to the people you'd like to invite to your party.
Once your friends accept your invite, they’ll join your party.
To leave a party:
- From Home, select the Social tab from your Dash.
- Select the Parties tab.
- Select
to leave the party.
Note: Anyone who joins your party can also invite their friends until you reach a party of 4 people.
