What headphones can I use with Meta Quest 2 or Meta Quest?
You can use headphones with both your Meta Quest and Meta Quest 2 headsets.
Meta Quest 2
Meta Quest 2 supports both 3.5mm headphones, as well as USB-C headphones. To use standard headphones with a 3.5mm jack, plug the headphones into the audio port located on the right side of your headset.
To use USB-C headphones with Meta Quest 2 plug the USB cable into the charging port located on the right side of the headset, just behind the standard audio port.
Keep in mind, if you plug in two sets of headphones, only the headphones plugged into the 3.5mm audio port will work. USB-C headphones also won't work if the Elite Strap with Battery is plugged in.

Keep in mind, other USB-C headphones and adapters may work with your Meta Quest 2, but we can't guarantee functionality for headphones or adapters that aren't in the list above.
Meta Quest
Meta Quest supports the use of 3.5mm headphones. To use standard headphones with a 3.5mm jack, plug the headphones into either of the audio ports located on the both sides of your headset. If your headphones use a dual stereo jack, you can plug that into both ports.
Keep in mind, headset microphones are not currently compatible with either Meta Quest 2 or Meta Quest.
