What information do you collect when I opt-in to improve the Oculus keyboard?

When you opt-in to improve the Oculus Keyboard, we store your keystroke data securely on your device for a limited period of time. Only aggregated keyboard activity information is shared with Meta to improve the keyboard experience for everyone. The aggregated information is disassociated from your device and account and no personal information about you is shared with Meta.

If you no longer want to help improve the Oculus Keyboard, you can opt-out at any time by going to Settings.

How is my data used to help improve the Oculus keyboard?

Your aggregated keyboard activity information is used to improve keyboard models that offer predictive text and auto-correct suggestions. Your activity information is combined with information from other users to learn new words and phrases that are offered as suggestions when you type.
