I’m having trouble setting up phone notifications on Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest.
When you set up phone notifications, you can see app notifications from your phone while you’re in VR.
If you are enabling phone notifications for the first time and you are unable to see your notifications in VR:
- Go to Settings on your Phone, then tap Bluetooth.
- Find your Meta Quest headset.
- Tap i, then tap Forget This Device.
- Open the Oculus App on your phone, tap
Devices.
- Tap Phone Notifications, then tap next to Phone Notifications to toggle off and then back on.
- Re-pair your Phone with your headset.
If phone notifications previously worked for you, but you are no longer seeing them after resetting or powering off your headset:
- Open the Oculus App on your phone, tap
Devices.
- Tap Phone Notifications.
- Tap next to Phone Notifications to turn off and then turn on Phone Notifications until you see a notification in your headset indicating that Phone Notifications have been successfully enabled.
If you do not see this during your first attempt, try the above steps again. If these troubleshooting steps do not work, please contact Customer Support.
