Verified user reviews on the Meta Quest Store
Date of last revision: April 26, 2022
All user reviews on the Meta Quest Store are from verified owners of this app.
What is a “verified owner?”
A “verified owner” is someone who has both purchased an app through Meta, and logged in to that app for at least one minute. Reviews that are not made by “verified owners” are not published, are only viewable only by their authors, and are not factored into the app’s average rating.
How are reviews processed?
Meta publishes all reviews, whether positive or negative, as long as they are from a verified owner and do not violate Meta Community Standards, or any of its other terms and policies. For each reviewed app, Meta displays an average star rating, calculated from all published reviews, as well as the percentage of star ratings received from verified owners. By default, reviews are displayed based on “Relevancy,” taking into consideration a variety of factors, such as how many users found the review to be helpful, how recently the review was published, the author’s time spent in the reviewed application, the review’s length, how close the review’s score is to the item’s average score, and the number of reviews in the last 28 days with the same score. Users may also filter reviews by how recently the review was published or by their star rating.
A review that is deemed to be in breach of our terms or policies, including our Community Standards, will be removed.
Publishing, soliciting, trading, selling, or buying fake, misleading, or inauthentic reviews or ratings violates Meta policies.
